Which brutal killings are we referring to here?
In Iraq many people have been killed, on both sides. And that is a tragedy. However, every branch of the United States Military lives by the same code: No matter what action you harm as few civilians as possible and to intentionally harm unarmed men women or children is a crime. In Afghanistan, it is an armed military declaration against a cowardly terrorist attack that took the lives of unarmed people whose only crime was going to work that day. Which brutal killings are we talking about here?

On Sept. 11, 2001 our country was attacked. We had after that a large influx of people signing up to protect our country from this threat. Everyday we here or read about terrorist blowing up innocent people, not Americans, terrorists. regardless of how we went to war in Iraq, we are there and terrorist are there as well. To blame our president for the killings is not only morally wrong, it is as well ignorant. people sign up to protect and serve our country plain and simple. Yes , there is some financial reward for doing it , but, where would our country be today without the military ?

Some of us have no choice in the U.S. the job/money situation is horrible in some states, or some peoples lives have no meaning, joining the Army can end that for them if they get killed, I was going to join because my fiance said she wanted to have children, had a child with me, cheated, then dumped me and sued for child support, so now the *itch is sucking me dry for money (there's a lot more to it) and joining the Army would put me in a place where if I wanted my child back, I could more than likely do it. More than that
Loyalty
duty
respect
selfless service
honor
integrity
pride

Monetary concerns. Promise of having college paid for. See the world. Most soldiers don't WANT to kill, they are just required to kill.

Excuse me, but the terrorists are to blame for brutal killings.
Who do you think is targeting civilians?
The Islamic terrorists are. They suicide bomb themselves in civilian markets and streets then hide among the civilian population using them as human shields.

You need to seriously grow up and progress in your thinking.
The volunteers of Americas military are attempting to protect you and me. So do us all a favor and stop trying to undermine them.

A soldier does not care about politics. What is important is that he/she does the required duties.

I know what you are saying........how can a volunteer military keep volunteering to go and kill for a war built on lies by a brutal king.......right? They do it because they either believe the lies or because they believe the military is going to be a good career move. I wonder how many are still recruiting?
