You have a problem called hijacking.
Uninstall IE and reinstall. Before reinstalling, chk for virus and phishing filters on your computers. Someone is logging your keystrokes as well.

Uninstall by going to Control panel, add remove progrs.
Do not just delete the program. Not a smart thing to do.

You can surf the net thru Outlook also if you wish. You do not have to go to WMP.

like the other answer, you have a hijack. Try looking on Google for an application named HijackThis. This shows a lot of information about the application that starts with windows or loads with iexplore
and you can remove them (from Windows Safe Mode). This will clean a bit your browser.
when you watch processes on Task manager, you might see unknown processes who have strange names. They are usually responsible for this kind of problems. Write them down and from the safe mode you can delete the files (they are usually in System32 and are exe or dll).
If u can't manage like this, try 2 or more specialized programs (their trial version eventually) like AdAware Personal, Spy Sweeper, etc. One anti spyware does not always work.
Meanwhile you can download Opera or Firefox (they are better then IExplore, also because viruses are not made for them, but for Microsoft applications)

1st: Go to BitDefender for a free online virus scan. If you are blocked (Page cannot be viewed...) youll need to edit your HOSTS file. It's in Start-->My Computer-->C: drive The actual location is C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc. Look for additions like BitDefender 127.0.0.1 and erase all with 127.0.0.1 after them. This is a loopback address commonly used to block sites. Erase, save and close. Right click the file and choose 'Properties' and check the 'Read Only' box, hit 'Apply', 'OK' and close.

2nd-Download, install and update Ad-Aware. Run a full scan and delete all the crap it finds.
3rd-Download, install and update Spybot Search & Destroy. Do full system scan and delete all the crap it finds.
4th-If you dont have an anti-virus, GET ONE. Use Kaspersky or AVG (Freeware). Update and scan at least weekly
5th-If you dont have a firewall GET ONE. ZoneAlarm has a good freeware version.
Keep the AV and firewall updated and set to start with Windows.
Good luck.
PS-Malware commonly uses the System Restore files to save a copy of itself and make it harder to kill. You may have to turn off SR to fully destroy the infestation.
