Yes, my parents live out of town. It is always nice to have them visit...but, I am glad to see them leave. It is just nice to get back into your routine and have your home back. I feel the same way when I go back home (another state). I get all excited about going and seeing everybody. But, I have learned not to stay long because I get very homesick (even though it is the town I grew up in). Congrats on having you home back :)

I hate to admit it but I'm happy when they leave. My grandparents have started to make a habit of staying the weekend for 3 weeks of the month and to be honest, it's fine occasionly but it gets very boring. They like to move my furniture around, put unsightly trees and plants in MY garden and even put flowery granny curtians up in MY house! they have also decided to invite themselves for xmas when they knew I had other plans. Very selfish I think.

Well Congrats!

I say it a bittersweet feeling. I like family, but not that long, after I've seen you for an hour that enough, you can go home.
