Horizon yield should be the Holding period yield. Horizon is the time foresee to which you want to hold the investment.
The formula is r^t+Pt-P/P where r is the coupon yield t is the holding period, Pt is the end of period price and P is the price at the begining of the period. This gives the holding period yield. r shoud be in decimals for the above formula.
