Recently I have been urinating a lot more frequently then usual.

There is no pain or anything, I just need to go to the toilet a lot more. This has come on quite suddenly!

Is this a symptom of anything? Could it just be a sign of aging? Any ideas or similar experiences?

I am male, 27.

Do you have any other symptoms?
Are you drinking more than usual? Do you have to get up in the night to urinate? Have you lost weight?
It may be a sign of diabetes. You can get a check at your doctors or some pharmacies now do diabetes tests.

It could be a sign of diabetes!

Or, it could be that your drinking way too much water, and urinating your potassium levels down to dangerous levels...

Get a complete blood workup (A-Z), and see what vitamins or minerals you maybe lacking, and also a glucose tolerance test, to see what sugar levels you have...(this entails fasting for 12 hours).

I wish you well..

If you consume more water than normal, this will result in frequent trips to the restroom. If your water intake has not changed and you are taking more trips to the restroom, then there could be a problem. It can be anywhere from a prostate problem to kidney problems. Consult with your doctor. He/she can run tests to determine the cause.

Go to your doctor , it could be due to the temperature , as its so cold you`re not losing fluids through perspiration so needing to wee more often , could be diabetes and also sorry to scaremonger but urinating often through the night is a symptom of prostate cancer ..

Take Desmonds advice. Is there diabetes in your family. Second possibility is Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, although you are young for this. Finasteride or Tamsulosin would probably alleviate symptoms.

Could just be a bladder or urinary infection. Simple treatment must be prescribed by a doc. Cipro works wonders.

You could either have a bladder infection, or be diabetic. Either way, check it out with your GP
