Mine has a few letters of my first name in it, the story is as boring as that.
Regarding YOUR nickname : to be honest, if I were you I would
work a little harder still to find a new nick-name you like.
(mind you, LOL....your nickname DID make me think : how come Yahoo took your nickname?? Was it an offensive one?? I mean, there can't be too many other reasons for Yahoo to take someone's nickname, or can there??)

I have to admit that I looked at this question *because* of your nickname! So, it sure draws people in. . .
Mine? Well, one of my nicknames in high school was Shellbug (don't know why, really), but that was taken when selecting my e-mail. I tried all kinds of variations, and settled on Shellbugger. That was several years ago, and I've contemplated changing it (friends have thought it was 'Shell-booger' - not very flattering), but it's such a hassle letting everyone know. . .

When I was at school, there were three other girls in my class with the same name as me. So my form tutor gave us all nicknames to stop all four of us answering at the same time when she called our name out. I was very gothic back then, so I got stuck with 'Morticia'. It later got shortened to Tish and that's pretty much it.
Not sure about yours, though! What was yours before they took it from you?

mine story is lame.anyaways I was sitiing trying to get a email adress taht no one ahs takan after 10 minutes I came up with my name.Dont know exactly how I came up but my family think that
its becuse Im not quite right in the haed.I say

I am mudcat_mom. Mudcat is what we call catfish down here in the South where it is a delicacy. I love to fish and catch big mudcat. And, I am a mom to 4 kids.

I am originally from Scotland.I grew up beside the beach.My bedroom overlooked the sea.At night with the moon,the waters sometimes looked crystal.Hence my name,crystal.It reminds me of home,because I have since left my country.
