plz help!
its really disheartening to be rejected as an asian all the time

1) Keep auditioning for non-Asian parts. If not for being Asian, they would have told you it's because you're too short, or too tall etc. The catalog of reasons is endless and dealing with rejection is an actor bread and butter.

2) Look for "blind castings" which mean that the actors' ethnic origin is of no importance.

3) Produce your own material to get noticed.

OK, try finding movies where Asian people are required, like the up-coming filming of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Some up-coming Jackie Chan movies might work out nicely, too. Hey, if you're going to try to be a movie star, I just want to wish you good luck.

stop thinking of yourself as an Asian actor. Think of yourself as an actor who happens to be Asian. Most directors are looking for the best actor, not a specific ethnic character.

okay your looking at things wrong. look at jet li he is asian and yet he has played in alot of movies. dont give up finding any
