They date because they still have the fantasy that a man will come and rescue them from having to work and make money. Even though they work these days doesn't mean they enjoy it, and seeing how women rarely date men who are poorer than they are it tells a lot about their motives.
They marry and date for access to resources and status. They don't actually love men, they love what the men can do for them.

Too broad of a statement , its still at least 70 / 30 men breadwinners.. But sex and companion hip are definitely a issue. Who knows why people marry these days . I thought it was a sacrament of Gods and a bond bewteen those in love. Now its a tax break political isssue pollitically correct thing or publicity venture, I am a little jaded on this subj. sorry but most dont take it seriously . To love and to hold from THIS day FORWard. Forever? Not today way to go King Henry!!!

Because in the past, it was neccessary for a woman to date. She "needed" a husband so she could be financially secure.
Today, women are financially secure, independent, self-sufficient, etc. Women date, because now it's a choice. They date men because "falling in love is an option" and not a neccessity, as it use to be in the past.
Men are not there just for financial security anymore. They're there for emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental support, for each other, not just for the woman.

A man and a woman is the best partnership for a success full life. Its the best way to raise a success full family. They make an excellent team. And not being lonely is a huge bonus. Dating men is fun, and a way of looking for a good life partner.

You have so many men now who are grown but want a woman to take care of them. They are sorry for lack of a better word. The woman is now most often the bread winner in the family and the one with drive and motivation to be something better because many men refuse to live the lives the Lord created them for-the keeper of the family. Men will use scripture to try to assert dominance but they will rarely remember the one that tells them that they are to love and respect their wives like Christ does the church.

I believe in women's lib but I also like to have a strong guy to change a flat tire.It's also nice to have a guy to talk things over with and I love snuggling up in bed. I'm keeping my guy!
