You changed your body temperature too quickly, actually putting it in a shock condition, especially if you had cold shower.

That is why sportspersons should always warm down slowly not only for muscles but to allow body to adjust...after strenous exercise like squash...I bet it gave you a shock? ..♥

Your pores open up when you're exercising, and the blood flows quickly to all parts of your body to replenish oxygen. Your body is naturally dispersing heat that you generate on your skin from playing badminton. And then you go shower and splash your skin with open pores with water and inhibit the heat dispersion process. Maybe that's why you got sick. Something to do with obstruction of your qi.

Also it changes your body temperature too quuickly from hot to cold (when you get out of the shower) Because your blood is still circulating quite fast etc and all that other stuff the first chick said.
