Call the nearest UPVC sales and installation center if this does not work.
Try rubbing a store-bought solution that is supposed to 'mend' and polish counter tops that have been scratched. Do not know exactly what it is called, but ask for this at a hardware shop, it should help. I used it on a scratched bathroom counter top that was white and it was fixed right away!

I feel for you!!!! My W/f (helpfull) sanded a new UPVC frame when I was decorating. Seriously, go to your Car Accesory place, get some 'T Cut' as in polishing up faded car paint, that will polish the surface back. As a 'PS', when they make bay windows and joint the sills, they polish them with similar. Looks to me like your W/F will get some 'Keep Fit' in with T Cut.
