well, to be honest,, when I married my husband he had the kindest heart but he kind of looked a bit geeky, really skinny, but now ...wow! Looks change with age, and because he wasnt the most gorgeous when he was younger hes not at all arrogant, and 25 years on he really turns the heads when people walk into a room! So I lucked in with a kind, humble amazing and now gorgeous husband! So if you go for all looks ......... in 25 years you may end up with one of those fat arrogant men like the ones who who work for my husband!

Pretty important, everyone judges other people on a looks basis- not right, but that's the way it is...
This is an ongoing dispute between me and the boyfriend as he claims that if we'd got to know each other more before going out (we have mutual friends) he would have fancied me anyway, even if I was not as attractive... but I don't think he would have, and I wouldn't have fancied him, if we didn't think the other was good looking in the first place. Maybe he's not as superficial as me! But the important thing I don't love him for his looks, I love him for his good heart, and that is ultimately what matters, particularly as we get older and our looks start to go!

For myself or others? For me I try very hard to look nice, and it IS alot of work, I scrub up ok, but only after a small team of technicians have finished with me!
I wish I could just wake up, scrape my hair back with a pair of knickers and look fantastic.
In my lovers, it is very important I'm not ashamed to admit. But then again, what I think is gorgeous no one else seems to agree with. I see this as a good thing though, all my mates fancy the same guys, leaving me with the one's no one else seems to like but I think are stunning, score!
In my friends and family- couldn't give a ****.

Beauty (sometimes) makes up for the lack of wisdom. Then it is important.
Being charming, quick witted and having a strong and good personality is much more important.

Good looks is important actually especially finding a job. When it comes to partner or love, looks doesn't matter for what is inside or your character counts most.

Yes it is important to be good looking, but it is absolutely not the 'be all & end all'.
Personality counts for more !!
...and in my book. the sound of the voice is VERY important.
A slovenly speaker score nil poins out of ten, even if she is the best looker ever.
Incidently, goofy lingo and poor grammar are another 'turn off' !

If a person can't help his/her looks because of the way they looked when they were born, then good looks aren't nearly as important as a good heart.

when your younger looks are kinda important, then you learn that looks come second to personality!! its about finding a good balance which suits ones self!!
at the end of the day looks diminish over years & all your left with is personality!!
