Technology, for one. Societal changes in regards to change and acceptance. (i.e. different races, gays, clothing styles) differing and changing religious views, changes in demographics, political changes, laws and lawsuits, and more i can't think of right now

Good question...Until five years ago, we were a generation that didn't have to worry about war as our parents and grandparents had. BUT we had to worry about lots else. Parents divorcing, sometimes having parents too busy with their own lives to care if we were alive or dead, growing up without the accepted beliefs in higher thing, etc. Now thought the war thing has definitely changed. About four years ago, when there was the first first death of a soldier from my old high school came out, I thought that things were starting to change fast and for the worst. I didn't know him, but his sister was a casual friend. Since then there have been five more deaths in my high school and one friend from college was badly wounded in Iraq. SO maybe as time goes on, and we get more mature, the differences will start to even out. I hope not! I for one don't want to be like my parents...

The world around us has changed in a million or so ways. My dad grew up on a farm without electricity until he was twelve and I remember watching the Appollo rockets blast off for the moon. My children grew up with huge populations and computers in every home. How could conditions not change?

Culture and Religion. I know this isn't a religious forum but it was foretold in the Bible that mankind would come to this state. Tell me honestly, does this not describe the world we live in today:
2 Timothy 3:1-5
But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, Â betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

After the invention of nuclear weapons technology has started to improve drastically out of fear. we're still the the traumatized children of the world wars, our motives are related with the inherited fears from our parents and grandparents.

It's like a mirror's reflection.... each generation becomes smaller and smaller with each reflection.......
The greater generation honored faith, truth and discipline..... the smaller generations will have little of those attributes.....
The next generation will be much less faithful, reliable, or honorable... they will create a less favorable government than what we have accepted.....
