I'm going to be getting a hysterectomy soon and i was curious if you could still have sex and be aroused if your parts aren't gunna be there?

Yes you should still be able to achieve orgasm. The "parts" that matter in this case are your clitoris and maybe your g-spot, which both remain intact after a hysterectomy. The uterus would matter if you are trying to get pregnant, which you can no longer do.

YES! However it will be different. I'm enjoying them more since my hysterectomy because I no longer have pain issues. As long as you are started on a good hormone replacement therapy then you'll have no problem.

Your "clitoris" is NO WHERE near your "uterus". See your doctor and have him explain to you your anatomy! I do not mean to sound curt with you, but I just can't believe a woman, who is about to have an "hysterectomy", and obviously sexually active, would ask this question. Oh Yeah!! I find sex a lot more enjoyable now.Before my surgery it was painful and now I look forward to having sex and the added bonus is I know I'm not going to get pregnant.

YES!...I had my plumbing taken out and the other stuff still works just fine...best thing I ever had done...No more monthly pain and worries...!!!

yes - the bits that get excited are the more "outy" bits, though lubrication may be a problem for a while

If you have a clitoris, then you can climax. If they're cutting your clitoris off with the surgery, then no you won't be able to climax.
