How early? I started getting hip pain around week 18 or so. It made it so I couldn't sleep or sit in certain positions very long.

Never heard of such a thing. I never have.
I can think of a dozen other reasons for the pain other than pregnancy. It is also not a sign that anything is wrong with the pregnancy, just incase your wondering.
