He's not just starting to learn the piano... he really is serious in studying it and is pretty good for his age. Not exactly concert level, but pretty good.

If he's absolutely serious about the piano, and will continue to practice and learn, then I can't see any reason why it would be anyhting but wrth every penny. If he's that good you have to do everything in your power to feed that talent. Go for it!

That, my friend is a tough one! I went thru the same w/ my nephew a few years ago, he was sooo...let's just say I had to pry him away in the showroom! The outcome; I did not purchase because finantially I could'nt (at the time). He still plays his table-top piano & I bought him a gutar this past year. At 20yo now- his interests are changing. If you can afford it.....Good luck!
