Generally, if your pregnancy goes to term, you're looking at 1 full pregnancy and perhaps the beginning of the second. That's not including miscarriages/abortions or premature birth.

Generally if you have a miscarriage, Drs will urge you to wait around 6 weeks, or 1-2 cycles before you attempt to get pregnant again. After giving birth most women don't want to get pregnant again straight away, but I think they recommend around a 2-3 month wait before you try again.

Theoretically, if you have a normal 28 day cycle, you should be able to fall pregnant 12 times, providing each of those pregnancies is ended before the beginning of the next cycle, which is usually only around 3 weeks between last day of bleeding and first day of bleeding. The foetus would be too tiny to notice, and the period would merely feel a little heavier than normal with perhaps some accompanying cramps.

Depends on the time between each period

An average period occurs every 28 days so 365/28 = 13.0 (3 sig.)

So you are likely to fail 13 times in a year
