My opinion and suggestions on present day Bangladesh are as follows:
3-good things:
1. Bangladesh is blessed with natural beauty, meaning plenty of greenery and water available; those things are precious for many countries that are not so fortunate to have them from Mother Nature.
2. The people in general are content with their 'fate' and could somehow manage to live with meager earning they can get without much whining or complaining.
3. The entrepreneurship zeal of the people were unleashed from early 1980s when the Garments Industries started exporting ready-made garments (first woven and later on knitted) and got noticed in USA, Canada and European markets. This itself revolutionized Bangladesh as almost all the people were touched either by direct or indirectly due to the growth of this sector.
3-things to be improved:
1. The dirty-politics has eaten-up whatever progress Bangladesh made in social, economic and international arena. These old-fashioned politicians are to be shut-up by applying any suitable treatment so that the whole nation can shrug off from the perpetual harm done by these parasites that are thriving on the misery of the people in the name of 'democracy'.
2. The misery of people could be improved with education available for the poor at least upto first primary school level which could be further improved to include secondary level education. Bangladeshi students of college and university level lacks in aptitude and knowledge in compare to Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka. Shedding English as a compulsory subject immediately after independence in 1971 has produced army of half-educated graduates and masters in this country, who are good for nothing if you compare the money spent on their education. Wakeup nation and start implementing English from Primary School level.
3. People in general waste a lot of time daily in their workplaces without any aim or goal to perform. This is true in almost every aspect of the life whether one is in Business or doing job. These same kinds of people adapt time and efficient way of performing when they go abroad. The whole culture of Bangladesh do not encourage 'productivity', since the leadership themselves are not properly 'educated' to appreciate these finer points, which comes naturally even to Indians also who were on the same rung with Bangladesh some 60 years ago.
I am sorry for the long response and hope that we need to discuss such topics seriously and enforce implementation of 'good habits and manners' among the population by way of concerted drives, as seen in Singapore, Malaysia, Iran and even Thailand who were at the same thresholds like us not in the distant past.
Have a nice leadership first in Bangladesh!

I neither like nor dislike Bangladesh. i've got not got any specific "opinion" of the rustic. All i will say is that because of the fact of what i comprehend approximately it (frequently an quite undesirable united states and numerous it companies to catastrophic floods) is that i would not prefer to stay there. yet that would not recommend that i think of any much less of the individuals who do stay there.
