Only if the ferret is genuine road kill and the peas are mushy, if you want to impress the mayor, it's got to be authentic!...

I've heard of "Ferret on a stick wi peas", I'm from the North West myself too! But if you go to Wigan (can't imagine why you'd want to) there is a Wigan Kebab on the menus at McDonalds in Wigan (A Wigan kebab is three pies on a stick, a Wigan Mixed Kebab is a Meat, Beef and Onion and Meat and Potato pie on a stick)

Is it a walking stick? Be sure not to ramble on. He may tell you to take a hike. Just wait in-line and watch your peas and queues. He's fussy about who enters his orifice chambers, but ferret as are right up his alley i reckon. The Mayor of Carmel would be mighty impressed with such a gift. So make his day.

It's only a proper Lancashire dish if it's served with chips and gravy. Enjoy!
