such information would be extremely dangerous as many many people would be outraged and there would probably be a revolt of some sort (maybe another civil war) to dissolve the US government and set up a totally new government that will be better. mind you if the public found out 9/11 was in fact planned by the US government it would also pave the way to find about other national tragedy's eg JFK assassination, now if I did find out that the US government was behind such a crime I would join the revolt (if such a thing actually happened) and work to overthrow the US government

Absolutely ! It is my duty as a good citizen to call or write my congress person.
I would let them know that I would very much be in favor of supporting a new 9/11 investigation.
I would let them know that I am insulted that the previous commission was allowed to white wash the whole incident.
I would let them know that I am also outraged that our countries government allowed this self inflicted massacre to be used as a pretext for an illegal war.
I would let them know that I do not appreciate or accept a government that behaves and or mimics Hitler's Neo Nazis.
I would let them know that those NeoCons, who most likely perpetrated this crime belong behind bars if not worse, for the massacre as well as crimes against humanity.
I would let them know that I am tired of puppet governments masquerading as "Representatives of the people and for the people".
I would let them know that I am aware of the non-democratic forces that motivate and control our governments actions.

If you found out that the US government was in fact behind Pearl Harbor would you do anything about it? Or how bout if we found out that the Nazi's were indeed the "Good Guys" ? Or that in fact Elvis had a sex change and is Madonna!?
In the Mean time terrorists went onto 7/7 or was that the UK Government? How about the attack In Bali, frustrated Dutch Perhaps?

against the only superpower left in the world? Other than take to the street in protest not really a lot to do. I would vote against them but i'm not an american citizen so my protest would be from afar and realistically not that effective.
