Far Cry (PC) bug: Cant finish first level?

Question

In the first level of Far Cry for the PC, you are supposed to enter the stranded Carrier through the hole in the side. Then a guy throws a grenade at you and the level is supposed to end.

But in my case nothing happens after the grenade. The level just continues. I know I'm in the right place, as confirmed by various FAQ's.

Has this happened to anybody else? Is there a patch that can fix this? And if so, which one?

Please help, I want to play this awesome game!!

Firstly patch your game (I think the most up-to-date version is v1.32) - the patches are available on several websites (try farcry.ubi.com/).

Then restart the game (you haven't got far to go) and get to the carrier - I always hijack one of the jeeps and use the jeep's rocket launcher to clear out the guy with the grenade (for me the game continues without problem).

When you swim in to the hole in carrier's side, go to the far right corner - the level should end and take you to a cutscene and from there you're away slaughtering the mercs.

your in the right place if you cant go into the hole just after the grenade is dropped then id reinstall and apply all the patches and start again if that doesnt work then i dont know any other answer

yeah.....well that's a bug.u should try to restart the game.or u can find a patch on the offficial site,patches fix these kinds of things
