For the last 2 weeks now I have had a few worms, a Trojian horse and lord knows what els.........WHY? I have got an anti virus and a Firewall...but one or2 of the little B******S are still comming through......Why?

You need to sort out your security. There are a lot of malicious people out there sadly.
You may need to switch off System Restore as back up files will be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run your anti virus and anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.
Then beef up your security. Its easier to prevent malware getting on to your sytem in the first place rather than trying to remove it. All the following programs are free for personal use;
You need to install one firewall.
The Windows firewall doesn't stop malware on your pc from dialling out.

Also use Microsoft Defender and their online scans.

Winpatrol is a handy utility that tracks cookies on your pc and stops unwanted changes to your startup folder.

Viruses and spywares are programs launched in the net by people to meet their self intrests. Spywares reside in your PC and spyes your actions. Same reason other punks write graffiti & use spray cans on public areas ....
Firewalls & antivirus are like having a good lock on your door. They only work if you use them all the time & let no starngers in. Heed all warnings & make sure they are configured properly.
Are any other people using your PC ... maybe that's where it started.

Have you noticed that very few people have been arrested around the world for making viruses and worms and all that. This is probably because companies make these viruses and say people are writing them. The companies that make the viruses most probably the companies that say they are protecting you from viruses. This is a good money spinner for them!

It's probably because you're viewing so many pornographic websites. The majority of viruses come from porn, and from illegal music/movie downloads. If you stop doing both of these things, your computer will be a whole lot safer. And your hands a lot less sweaty.

because they probably are spyware and antivirus programs don't pickup spyware entries. it's great that you have antivirus and firewall installed but you also need to have antispyware to stop spyware, adware, keylogger, etc.

first you build a virus, and then you build a virus protector to sell to you so you can defend against the virus. Pretty slick, eh?
Same concept worked well for the mob in selling protection against thugs.
