Yes, it would be most likely to be the partner's, not the one night stand. However:
1) Pregnancy is not exactly 9 month long. It's measure in weeks. Hence as Feb is a short month, it is possible that the baby might not be born nine months after conception and so might be later (although 11 months later is just a little *too* late!).
2) It is possible to get 'implantation bleeding' that could possibly be confused with a light period.
As the dates are so far apart, it is almost certainly the partner's baby - 11 months is far too long for gestation. However, if the case was slightly different and the dates were closer together, 1 and 2 would be more likely to apply, so the only way to know for sure would be a DNA test. Hope this answer gets you lots of nice shiny pass marks!

conception is usually 14-18 days after you last period. so if your last period was in january say around the 23rd or summit like that (depending on you cycle) you would miss a Feb period and your baby would be born in Novemeber. i know this because i had a baby on oct 26th (two weeks before the 8th of nov ) so it would be roughly 2weeks different to me.
The above scenario is what i think may have happened to your case study. The partner is the father.

If you had a period after the sex on the first of January, it didn't get you pregnant.
If you had sex at the end of January and skipped the next period, then yeah, I'd say you conceived in January.
So the father is whoever you slept with later. As in, your partner.
That's pretty good luck, huh?
Good thing this isn't a real situation.

Your partner would be the father. You cannot get pregnant just before your period.
Women ovulate around the middle of their cycles. Once released the egg remains viabe for fertilisation for just 12-24 hours. Ovulation can be pin-pointed by taking your temperature every morning when you wake up. It will rise when you ovulate.
As a woman approaches ovulation her mucus becomes stretchy like egg white. Sperm can survive for a max of five days in this most fertile mucus.

First off you can still have a period even if you are pregnant that happens all of the time but if you are not sure then you should get a blood test because if he leaves you then he will say it not mine and you will have to get one any way and it will take forever and what happens if your boyfriend finds out its not his then this other person will be responsible for the baby not your boyfriend.and why would you have a one night stand and not use anything come on now.are you in the leased bite worried i would be things can take years before they come back and bite you in the butt and next time have Little respect for your self and your unborn kids.

Couldn't possibly be the one-night-stand, 'cause you'd have to have been pregnant for 11 months, which as far as I know, is medically impossible.
Good luck with that coursework!

If you calculate it, and the pregnancy was full term 39-40 weeks, You got pregnant of February 5th. Take the babys birthdate, add 3 months and subtract 7 days.
