I'm kind of an ash-blond bordering on brunette (or vice versa). I can be just as ditsy as the most stereotypical "blonde".... yet I know a lot of blonde jokes myself. :)
I think it has to do with, well, can you take laughing at yourself, or not? I can laugh at myself, so I find blonde jokes interesting (at least, not always funny). I'd imagine the ones that *really* don't like the jokes (not just dislike them to make a comeback and be funny), aren't so comfortable with themselves, possibly.

Why should brunettes envy?
I was a blond and had beautiful brown hair but never made a joke about both. But my boyfriend tried once to emphasize the color of my hair saying:
- ...say again
-Oh, I'd better talk slower, I forgot that you are blond.
After these words he was sorry.
But I understand the humor.
Ah-gm, did I answer the question? I am blond again!!!

Because the brunettes like paying out the blondes whilst the blondes dont want to pay themselves out.

Cause brunettes are jealous of blonde's and feel they need to belittle them to make themselves feel better, but surprise I love a good blonde joke I think there humorous and believe it or not. Not every blonde is a ditz! And we do have more fun!

Hey now, my sister is a blonde and I believe she holds the title for the most "blonde jokes"! Even has a blonde t-shirt telling her precisely where her limbs are located!

Because we enjoy making fun of the airheads that are in all of the blonde's. They think we're dull and we think they are ditsy. Even if they are just pretending to be.
