Feels like gas bubbles...like when you are kind of gassy and bloated and feel those little pops in your abdomen. Just like that, until they really start growing and you can feel and see an elbow, foot or head move across your belly. Enjoy.

At first it's just little fluttering and when you get the first proper kick you will know! It's not a feel that can easily be put into words, it's the best feeling in the world and when my first baby was born I missed that for a long time afterwards. I used to lie in bed with a flat tummy and wait to feel her move! In a way I still miss that. But not enough to have another baby!!

When you get your first real kick it surprises you :)
All i can say is it feels like being played like an inside out drum lol ........
wait till baby starts moving about ,that is a very nice feeling unless you get a baby that sleeps with its bottom in the air like one of mine did shes 12 now and still sleeps bottom up lol
good luck with the babies all those expecting i'm soooo jealous and so broody but am nearly 40 after 4 kids ad 2 step kids *sigh*

It feels wonderful like little flutters that get you all excited. It starts like bubbles then flutters then its unmistakeable as the baby grows. But twinges and poking feelings can be anything you get all kinds of aches and pains during pregnancy but as it progresses you will learn your body more and then no the difference.
Congratulations and good luck

That sounds like the baby moving to me!
I felt little taps as the first movements. Never got the whole 'fluttering, butterfly' feelings that some people describe. My baby's movements felt more like muscle spasms, or just plain kicks!
Enjoy!

I haven't actually been pregnant myself but I have two friends, one that has just had a baby and the other is 7 months pregnant. You should know when it kicks. I felt my friends baby kick and it was amazing.

yeah, the feeling you get is of the baby movement.... how do you feel when it pokes you.... i am sure u must be enjoying that movement... dont wonder and just enjoy and if possible share it with your spouse.... it is a good experience to be shared together and see the smile & joy on the face and in the heart of both of you... even the baby wil be enjoying playing with mom and dad....it wil start responding faster.... dont take tensions... grap each and very movement....

Amazing a gently fluttery wow feel, the most amazing in the world, then gradually they get bigger and weirder but fantastic feeling, funny when they get hiccups also later on good luck:o)
When i first felt lying down calmly in bed gently rubbing tummy it's amazing.
