We will run out! Due to human nature, fossil fuel is easier to obtain. When technology provides a better power source, humans will gravitate towards it.

BMW is presently making a car powered by hydrogen, and other car manufactures are looking at the same, but there is still far to much money, and the fantastic chance for "wars" to be fought over oil, so it will be a very long way off, that we stop utilizing oil as fuel.

We will replace it eventually...especially if the greedy oil companies keep trying to push the prices up...There is going to be a boiling point...and a serious backlash...and it has started already since republicans in Congress got voted out in the last elections...The price of oil and the war together are the biggest reasons why...

with new inventions and new technology, oil will be replaced
definetely in coming generations. Some of these are: hydrogen,
water solution, electric, ethanol, biodiesel, jetropa plants, solar
etc., etc....
