To me it is helping someone who needs help or inviting a person who is all alone over to my house to share Christmas dinner.
But we shouldn't only do that during holidays......right?

Good question. If people only respected that day in particular and offered presents to their kids after the mass.Slowly the Christmas spirit is dying and the reason is being replaced.I personally fear for generations to come. Now thats how sins of the fathers occurs. All out of ignorance.Wouldnt that make it extra magical?

I'm still hoping for something to make it feel good. I just moved to Spain and we have no money so there wont be any presents for each other (my husband of one year and I). The worst part is that I can't send anything to my family back home in Florida. I'm also expecting a baby in March and we don't have anything for him yet either.....so I'm hoping for a miracle basically, and I do know that most of the world has it wayyyyyy worse than me.

This year, more than in previous years, I have realized that celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ helps us to remember that He will come again to reign personally on the earth. By remembering that He came before, it strengthens my faith that He will come again. That additional message to Christmas has been a great thing for me to think about.

No...but this year my Christmas will be very sad because I won't be able to spend it with my family and friends. I will be all alone and that has made me feel very sad already.

Winning a fat chunk of the UK National Lottery would be nice. As that's not going to happen, just the usual stuff.
