i have a 1G flash disk (new) and i have loads of songs that i want to store on it, but it will only take about a 150. i want to store more than that, is it possible on a 1G disk?

i have 244 mp3's on my 1gig.

Around 250 mp3 songs (average 4 mb per song)

If the songs are WMA that's about as much as you can fit. Now if you can turn them to mp3 you could fit about 250 to 300 maybe more if you compress them enough.

1GB is supposed to hold at least 250 songs. Double check your instructions that came with your flash.

it depends what quality you converted them to on mp3. usually mp3 are stored at 128kb/s. which is close to cd quality. try converting them to 96kb/s. you'll get more in the space but lose quality.
