in the beginning i couldn't stand them and,i admit it was due to the fact that freddie mercury was gay.but as time wore on and i was subjected to repeated play,i started to realize that gay or not,the guy had more talent than proably anyone i had ever heard before.thank god,i put my prejudice aside and gave the guy his due.
i don't think there ever has been or ever will be a talent to match.i even found myself upset over the reunion of queen but, when freddies mother approved,i gave paul rodgers a chance.
i admit he did ok but theres no way he did justice to freddies memory.i think george michaels would of fit the role better cause his freddie impersonation is un-matched.however he wasn't accepted for that role because,he wanted ALL proceeds to go directly to charity.
long answer to a short question;as long as freddie mercury is doing the singing,i will buy it.anyone else taking his role,NO!
