Once you have taken that first pill, take one tablet every day thereafter until you have taken all 21 tablets in the package and there are no tablets left. You will take no pills for the next 7 days. About 3 days after finishing all 21 tablets, you will have your "period", often much lighter and shorter than you're used to...(you do not take the "pill" during your "period")

Most pill packs have a weeks worth of placebo pills that are basically sugar pills to take during the week of your period. You don't have to take them, but it can help you to stay in the habit all month long. If you are on a patch version, you get 3 patches, one for each of the first 3 weeks, and then you go one week without a patch while you have your period.

YES!!! Every single day!! Regardless of anything! The last thing you want to do is not take a pill for the day. Because then you start to miss pills, and u dont want that to happen!

It depends on witch kind they gave you, if you have 21 pills then you finish them and you would start again the first day of you period, that gives you a weeks rest in before your period, and still have protection, if you have the hole months worth then yes you would take it everyday even on you period.

Correct me if I'm wrong girls but I think usually girls take a sugar pill as part of their cycle which allows them to have regular periods as that is more healthy than completely stopping periods.
