My cell phone says "Charging", not plugged in, nothing works on it, any ideas what 's wrong?

I also tried to call it from my home phone and it goes directly to voice mail.

try taking battery out and putting it back in. if that dont work mayneed to call cell service and get a new one.

You didn't said what your phone model is. Are you facing this problem when you plugged the charger or......? If that so the problem may be your Charger pin is damaged. Otherwise clearly express your Question....
