I want to get up to 7 someday but what is the importance of this is it a contest I don't know about?

OH man Petunia you are too much 27 points for the week:) that has to be a record and you have asked and answered how many questions I bow down to you with your crown for violations I think you better watch your back it seems someone is after you hey did you ditch porky and he is mad this reminds me of spades where instead of 500 you go out the door backwards:) Your mission this week should you choose to accept is to only get let's see be reasonable 10 violations and 500 points:)

ranking isnt impt...
i was just very hooked up in getting 2 level 7 & i did last week..
but normally, i do get around 300 pts in a day but depending on d flow of Q's...
btw, i didnt notice ur Q earlier.. sorry abt that...

It mattered more to me before I reached 5. Now I have unlimited answers and questions. Just makes it like "Ok, now what?". Maybe I will think it is more fun again when I get closer to level 6...that just seems so far away though.
I guess it is kind of like playing a video game. Just want to get to the next level because it is there.

It is a heirarchy of sorts...when choosing a best answer, I rarely give it to people with blank avatars, especially if they are at level 1 or 2.

it's just the competitive spirit in all of us. it's a game and we want to reach the top. it's human nature
but having said that - i ask all the questions i feel like, regardless of points. otherwise what's the point of even being on yahoo answers.

l want to reach the top level not because l'm competing with anyone. Just reaching that level is an accomplishment for me since l'm too slow-paced.

I never thought it was a contest. I always thought it was to help people by answering their questions. I noticed on polls & surveys the questions are more jokingly then any other catigorie.
