I liked the Hong Kong version on which it was based, Infernal Affairs. The violence and language in Scorcese's work is off-putting for me personally. I think there is something to be said for a crime thriller with little on screen violence or language and is still quite effective. Plus, it stars on of the best actors in the world, Tony Leung. Anyways, if the premise interests you, check it out!

i LOVED it. i thought it was the best action movie that i've seen in a very, very long time. if martin scorcese gets snubbed this year for an oscar, then i would be reassured that the oscar committee people are stupid

Too much killing and double agents. but it's the closest to the real thing. i had guys in the field that got killed. one of them my close friend. going undercover is putting one foot in the grave
