I was wanting to research some types of fertility drugs. I know about clomid but what other drugs are out there and how have they worked for you?

There's a similar fertility drug to Clomid, called Letrozole (Femara). It basically does the same thing as Clomid; it induces ovulation. It's been reported to have less side effects than Clomid. A common side effect of Clomid is less cervical mucous....Letrozole supposedly actually increases cervical mucous.
Don't be suprised if you Google 'Letrozole' and get lots of information about how it's used to treat breast cancer. That's what it was originally marketed for. Try typing "Letrozole and Infertility" and you'll probably find more of the information you're looking for.
I was successful after using just one round of Letrozole; unfortunately, it recently ended in miscarriage. But I'm definitely going to try it again in a month or two!

Hey Megan! I used Letrozole as well! It worked the very first cycle...but, I had an early miscarriage a few weeks ago. I will definitely use it when I try again. I was a little uneasy about taking it with all of the warnings out there about birth defects. It turns out that it has been cleared of the birth defects (according to my obgyn). Good luck!
