There really isn't enough information to identify the issue and answer your question.

Are you concerned that gaming is not age appropriate? If this is the case, don't worry.

Are you concerned that you are addicted? You didn't mention what type of game, how much money you spend, or how many hours you spend in a day at it.

If playing this on-line game is interfering with your ability to fulfill major responsibilities at home, school or work, then you've got a problem. If you are blowing a lot of money (for gambling, or Linden cash), you have a problem. If you have a concern (as suggested by you asking the question) then quit "cold turkey" and see if you can stay away.

By the way, they is an interesting article which suggest that a lot of people may be addicted to the net.

Not at all.
They used to say women shouldn't play video games at all. There are still a lot of people out there who feel it that way. Some game developers create games from a male point a view. Especially with race games. So with some games I'm kinda annoyed because of the story lines; how you're supposed to be this boy who wants to make it out there in the big street race field.
I feel that there should be an option, so that you could choose to have a female character in that car.
Any way, i enjoy my games a lot. I have many. And a lot of different types too. I ignore anyone who says it's not for women. I pay for it, and I'm not harming anyone, also i enjoy it so much. Then why is it wrong?
And i certainly don't think that there's an age-limit on games. Don't listen to the people that try to talk you out of it. You have the right to enjoy games just like anyone else.
So; no, there nothing wrong with it.
It's a good way to blow off some steam too!
Well, if it doesn't cost you too much money, then, go ahead and enjoy!

Everything is wrong with that. I can't resist seeing a 41 year-old woman playing online games! I never tell the truth. Except for that sentence before this.

hmmmm, I hope you're not spending a lot of money on that game. As mentionned above, there are a lot of free games out there. I don't play games online myself so I wouldn't know which ones to suggest. There is nothing wrong with playing games online at any age, it's a hobbie just like any other. Although, there are limitations, if you start losing some sleep over it or that it becomes an addiction, maybe you should reconsider doing something else...

No there is not anything wrong with that. I'm a female 21 who's married to a 22. I see no difference between male and female in who's older or younger. Look before i met my husband i dated a guy 5 years older then me. close to my oldest brothers age and 2 years older then my older Brother. So if your happy and shes happy that's all that matters not how much of an age difference. sign hannah

keep on gaming :)

like others said. nothing wrong playing on line games, as long as it doesn't control your life ( or your playing that evil WoW game .. lol )
just make sure your devoting enough time to making your self "well rounded", by spending time with family, friends and other social " stuff " away from on line games ( I'd say for every hour you play on line, spend an hour doing something besides it )

and for goodness sakes .. find a guy that shares your intrest .. did i mention I'm a single 40 year old male that enjoys gaming also ??

I play online with a group of women who are even in their late 50's. Nothing wrong with it at all. It is very good for you hand eye coordination. And is also great for socializing in the winter months when it is hard to get out of the house.

Have fun!

Not if you enjoy it and still live your normal life when you are not playing the game. I think with anyone playing a game, the most important thing is that they do not become overly involved with it, to the point where it becomes their life.

Why should there be anything wrong with it? If you are having fun , and it is not stealing time away from any of your other responsibilities or using money that your family needs to pay your monthly expenses, I see nothing wrong with it!
