1) The Holly and The Ivy. First printed in the 18th century. May have come from Nordic and Druid cults. Christian words added later.
2) We Three Kings of Orient are. J. H. Hopkins, American.
3) Silent Night, Holy Night. This is sung throughout the world in homes of high and low degree. Written by an Austrian Priest, Father Josef Mohr. Music by Franz Xavier Gruber.
4) Joy To The World. Issac Watts paraphrased the 98th Psalm.
Handel composed the music. American Lowell Mason arranged and adapted three motives from the Oratorio.
5) God Rest you Merry, Gentlemen. The true origin of this Christmas Carol, voiced in such lifting joy of the Christmas season has never been established; except that it is a production of the 16th century folk-song, and comes to us in the hallowed company of music simply designated, "anonymous".

"All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. Can't stand Mariah but the song reminds me of 'Love Actually' and that is my fave "Holiday" movie.
