When you are ignorant people will fool you,you would believe anything they told you:it is a lack in life experience.But that can change.
Not if you are apathetic:you don't even care what's going on.
You are numb to whatever happens and therefor learn nothing new.
Better to be ignorant and learn from your mistakes,than to be an apathetic person,who will never learn anything new,because you don't care.

ignorance is knowing incorrect information and apathy is having an opinion or not caring about which information is correct or incorrect....
