Sorry to hear that, really wish you all the best, may your husband get well soon; well, bring Xmas joy and warmth to the hospital with you: unite the family and go there all together, bring a nice Xmas tree too, decorate his room, wrap him with your love. Xmas is about love, doesn't really matter where you celebrate it, main thing is to be together with your family and share with them. Wish you a Merry Xmas!

If there is a shop in the hospital you can find some ribbon curly or not and hang it up in the room with tape or just the sticky backing. If its straight then, get a pair of scissors, open them use your thumb on one side and the open half of the scissors and slide it down the straight ribbon several times. This creates a curly effect, you can stretch it to your desired look.
Also hospital food can be a drag so feel free to get the good stuff and as always its the thought the counts :-)

let him feel them the Christmas outside, have his room decorated. maybe you could lift your window a little up to let the chill get in..=)
decorate, decosrate more then enough but not too suffocating.
you can have your own Chirstmas tree..
and when it is meal time, together with your family, provide a table near his bed, or where he could be comfortable.. =)
PLEASE do not forgot a tv or something that might distract you all when silence is needed. just to keep everyone busy.. =)
