If I'm hyped up to see a movie, I want to see it in the theater on opening night. Big screen, good sound system... but the main thing for me is having an enthusiastic crowd there.

First cus it gives you a reason to get out of your routine, make it an outing and second the movies are newly released you don't have to sit and wait what all the buzz is about on a movie and yes I know some people get the movies right away but it's not legal and it's to much hassle. Thirdly the screen at the movies it's huge way bigger than at home unless your rich and have a movie theater at home.

Uh.. because you can't watch a movie on cd ? Movie theaters are cool because your out of the house watching it.

Well, i cant tell you about other people. But, i am one of them so i will tell u mine. I prefer the theatre bcoz of its climate. It is like far different from home. The whole atmosphere changes. I can deeply concentrate on the movie in a theatre. Also, i dont pause it and run-off to do sth else.
Also, it gives me an outing- you know, time out of home. Plus, the big screen and the loud sound just steals the show!!!!!!!

The experience, For some people it;s a night out, a special event, something to do. Some people like the big screen and the sound effects.

Because it is on a BIG screen and the sound is all around you. Much better impact that way. Draws you into the movie.

watching movie in a movie theatre gives you a pleasure that you don't get at home watching using CDs...
beside...the movie screen in theatre is huge & can watch more better than home player....all the 3D sound which you don't get at home..

the screen's much bigger...if it's a new show then the cd's will come much later so why not watch it earlier... its dark..a great place to make love( just kidding) and you have your popcorn and soda just the way you like it
