There is an apparent double standard.
I have never been racist, but I have received almost nothing but hatred from most black people. Even if I am respectful towards them, I am often greeted with sour faces, bad attitudes, and no gratuity. No matter how nice I am, they have a hatred for whites that does not go away. Since I have met a lot of black folks over the years going door to door, it's highly unlikely that this is just a case of bad sampling, it's more likely to be an indicator of general racist attitudes prevailing among the black community.
Fortunately, I have met enough nice black folks that I don't attribute those bad traits to the WHOLE community. I know there are decent black folks, and I love em to death.

This is an interesting question, I have heard it being discussed before. It speaks volumes when people of different races can come together and have an educated discussion on such a difficult and sensitive issue. So far the answers here have been polite. I think this is great, no matter what position you take on this matter I applaud each and everyone who has contributed in a civilized manner.

There is just as much question from other races towards others that I believe it is not a racial thing as much as an individual thing.
I personally subscribe to the theory that when talking of someone else, it is easier to say this man, or this woman, or this child, or that group of people, without identified race or color.
The only time race needs to be mentioned is when it IS a race dependent issue.
I think it insulting to identify a person by race or color, instead of who they are, which is a human being.
Questions such as yours deepen the gap of misconception, and will never be answered to anyones total agreement.

The reason is people dont understand the meaning of the word 'equality'. For those out there who this applies to, it means "the same" I cant make rules stipulating what words you are allowed to say, and you cant make rules stating what words I am allowed to say. We cant even tell each other if its appropriate to use such words. Look I am not saying that classifying, berating, insulting, or generalizing people is right or wrong, Im just saying that if we are willing to accept it from Chris Rock, Kat Williams, and Dave Chapelle, "Equality" means that we also accept it from Carlos Mencia, Michael Richards and any other comic with a sack who decides that grown up people in a comedy club are responsible enough to hear grown up language without needing and ACLU meeting or a lawyer to help them through it.

Beware! The blacks are coming on too strong. They form marches and protests at the drop of a hat. Listen to what the leaders of the black Muslims have to say.

That's called reverse racism. Racism is wrong whether a black or a white person does it.
