That require finger picking? I really like doing it, and thus far I've learned a couple Iron and Wine songs, plus made up one of my own.

What songs do you suggest?

What songs are pretty?

There are a lot of songs that are finger picked. You should pick a song that fits ur personal taste in music. I like all kinds of mu sic, but two of my favorites are classic rock and country. Here is a list of songs that I think are pretty.

Had to say I love you in a Song- Jim Croce
SImple Man- lynyrd Skynyrd
What Might Have Been- Little Texas
Dust in the Wind- Kansas (Quite Difficult)
House of the Rising Sun- Animals
Tears in Heaven- Eric Clapton
Whiskey Lullaby- Brad Paisley / Allison Krauss

You can also improvise on slow songs and just fingerpick the chords instead of strumming them. I hope this helped.

An oldie but a goodie, and the staple acoustic song for all guitar players, but beware! Playing this in your local music shop will get you kicked out!

First song I ever learned was "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones. It's like three chords.
