I have an aquarium that kept Oscar fishes together with other kinds of fishes. As the Oscar fishes gets older, they become wilder and start biting the other fishes including Hammer Head and Big Head fish and I have already lost a couple of the other fishes. I don't have anymore spaces to put a new aquarium to separate the fishes. What can I do? How to stop the Oscar fishes from biting other fishes? I do have a point outside the house, will the Oscar fishes survive if I put them outside?

Besides re-doing your tank, and try adding more plants and stuff to provide a place to hide..Make them re-adjust so less aggressive about (their ) part of the tank...

The fish will not make it in the outside world. The temperature will not be warm enough. The Oscars are aggressive by nature. They will go after fish smaller than they are. I am not familiar with the other fish in your tank, but oscars are great fish with personality. You may want to think about dividing your tank in two to seperate the fish.

Oscars bite, that's what they do. They are big fish and can live for many years, and as they get older they will get more and more aggressive. If you are not able to keep your Oscar in his own tank (that is at least 60 gallons) bring him back to the petstore.
He will not survive in the outdoor pond, as Oscars require warm, stable water.

Decide what you want do. If you want to keep the oscar, and the tank is big enough bring all the othre fish back to your petstore or sell them at your local aquarists' society. If you want to keep your other fish, sell the oscar.

well, your first mistake was putting oscars with other types of fish. Oscars are meat eaters - meaning their main diet is fish, shrimp, etc and they will eat anything that you put in the tank with them. You should have done some research before you mixed fish. If you want to keep the others that you have, separate them, or let the oscars eat what you have left.

hate to tell you but Oscars are aggressive towards other fishes & can be towards people...they grow large & hence are more dominate...IM not sure if Oscars can survive outside depens on the weather where you live...do you livein a warm climate?? if so then the Oscars should do fine...bottom line tho they are an aggressive fish & you can change them
