Ok, let me rephrase this: Why are people so afraid of bugs? Dogs are way more dangerous, as are cats!

Probably because women are more emotional than men, and males have to hide their fears to maintain their masculinity. Many guys are afraid of insects, But they won't show it 'till it
crawls up their leg, arm, neck, ect. go to Florida and check out some of the insects it has to offer, not to mention the retiles that seem to have squatters rights to your house. Don't worry. most insects will not harm you unless threatened. I think it is Karma. I can walk in to a nest of wasps, work around them, they land on me then fly away and never sting me. Bugs are a part of our ecosystem. How many other species can we eliminate?

Not all are! my little sister used to collect fireflies and rip their wings out and then play with their "fire" which I was proud to tell her was the a s s of the firefly. I'm still scarred to this very day...
I think mostly girls just do it for attention. "AAH A BUG!" *guys scatter over* "omg guys...I think Im gunna faint" "ILL SQUISH IT FOR YOU..." "AAAAHHH!"
and I'm gunna go vomit now...

I'm not afraid of bugs.... well, not unless they can poison you -- would not kill one although i do prefer them outside
