Does anyone know a reliable raid implementation for linux? Is SW raid good enuf?

I want to have about 1-2 TB of usable data space. I also want the failed disk scenario to be as simple as possible.

the best way to find out anything about Linux is to join a user group. depending on what version your runing. you could do a web search for (redhat) linux user group, each linux version tends to be different, I am using suse linux and their user groups are good plus Novell Suse give plenty of advice
