different kinds of stockings??

my wife always buys her stockings,,,but i wnat to buy her some outifts that she wouldn't buy for her-self,,but when it comes to stocking\nylons which kind are the ones that feel silky??? i mean some she buys all look great on her but some have a silkyfeel and shinny look where others don't... i want the silky ones?????

Go to www.stockingstore.com and look under the Ultra Sheer Stockings category. Everything there should be silky. You want 100% non stretch nylon stockings. They will all be imported from France or England, because they are no longer made in the US. Most Italian stockings are stretch sheer, and stretch is never as sheer feeling as the ultra sheer non stretch.

stockings are rated on their sheerness by what is called denier. I believe the higher number denier, the sheerer the stocking, but that could be backwards. In any case, look for the denier, that tells how sheer and silky the stockings will be. Congratulations for having a wife that enjoys wearing stockings, and good luck on your purchase. You'll probably find what you want in the Donna Karan. Falke, Levanteor, or Givenchy brands.

If they don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, it probably doesn’t exist.

Open her stocking drawer and see what brand name is listed on them. Then you will know what kind she likes and probably be easier to find them to buy them for her.

ask for where such are sold, especially from ladies... your wife doesn't have to know
