hp office jet 720, we just got it, new cartridges and we can only get it to print in black and white. is there something wrong with the way we have it set up? is good for text, but not so hot for photos, etc.

Go through the settings and you will find a place where it says print color. Check that box. It is more than likely set on black only.

Again check the properties fully, then right the printer-->click properties-->then print test page
after printer check the test pagethere is an windows LOGO whether printing color or not.
Again right click the printer go to printer preferences check for printer nozzle,head cleaning
after done till not printing color remove the catridge confirmed that u removed the tape
if it is removed then shake well the color catridge
fix it and again check till the same problem persist change the catridge

Go to your control panel -> printer setup, right click on the installed printer & select printer preferences. Select paper quality & in that change colour from black & white to colour. This will do.
