im currently deployed to Iraq and i have no idea what to get my mom forChristmas, i already got my dad something any ideas?

When I didn't know what to get for my family I would buy them gift certificates to places I knew that were in their area.

Tape record a loving letter to her and tell her how thankful you are to have mom like her and how much you love and miss her, tell her you'll be home as soon as your job in Iraq is done and you will have a catch up Xmas even if it's in July. Give her a nice locket with a picture in it of you in it, wearing your uniform because I bet your mom is very proud of you and the sacrifice you are making for your country. Stay safe and God Bless!

First of all thank you for serving our country. Probobly not possible but the best thing you could give your mom is a safe return home! Maybe a video of you showing where you bunk, eat and video's of some of your friends. Also a letter a day in December. I know your Mom misses you, I have a nephew in Kabul. We love hearing from him but wish we could hear from him more. Good luck to you!

The only gift your mom really wants in the whole world is for you to come back safe and sound.
Buy her some of her favorite perfume--she will love it. (with a promise to her that you will be careful and be home as soon as possible).
