Say whatever they want about whites and it is fine. They are even praised at times but if a white person can't say anything about a black person. It is not fair. If a black person can call a white person a name then a white person should be able to do the same.

This is a totally legit and serious question. I am sick of being called cracker and honky and not being able to give it back w/o fear of getting my azz kicked. I don't go around beating people cuz they called me a name. Why is it ok for them to beat the sh3t out of someone?

I am totally with you on that . For sure , this is racial oppression against whites. When I went to high school in the 80's I was called cracker, whitey , white boy every day by many different black people but do you know how horrible it would have been if I called one of them "black boy" back? I saw a white guy do this and he had 6 black guys jump on him and others heard about it and pushed him around for months and constantly he had to watch his back. This after a daily barrage of racial epitaphs being hurled at him for years. If that is not SICK and totally racist against "white boys", what is?

I'm so tired of these kind of questions. I'm not condoning name calling, and i don't thinks its right on all sides; but its getting a little ridiculous when grown men and women (both black , white or whatever) are crying about who says what to who! as children this may be OK but when we get passed a certain age the mature thing to do is be the bigger person and move on. yes it is wrong for black people or white people to say derogatory remarks to each other but jumping on the race wagon and point gaming is infantile and stupid and is the reason why this is still going on. As a woman of color i have never said anything negative to any white person nor do ever intend to. i understand where your coming from because i've seen first hand at comedy clubs, on the radio and so forth. i do agree with you that people of color need to stop already (its getting old, and is not funny anymore!)

Because it's not political correct to say negative things against anybody other than whites.

I respect Bill Cosby because he is standing up for the black,,,,, excuse me Afro American , he wants them to speak proper English and not call each other the N word which if your Afro American it's OK if your white then your a hate ridden skin head bigoted bastard. and can be sued, and tossed in jail (hate crime laws)

I remember years ago a college kid (white) was trying to study and a few AAmerican ladies were making allot of noise, so out of frustration he yelled at them to be quite, and called them a bunch of cows,,,,,, well he was almost expelled they tried to make the cow remark a racist remark.

It's gotten out of control, and I think it is going to get worse, it's getting to the point where you can't even complement a female worker on a nice dress or new hair style. Sad days are ahead partner.

I've been seeing this a lot lately--I don't know who started that rumor--but it seems to be popular opinion in Yahoo! Answers--no one has the right to disrespect anyone--yet that does not take away their ability to do so---I can't honestly remember being praised for disrespecting anyone in my entire life--as a child I was told that I should walk as a leader and not a follower and measure character over color. Many black people were raised the same. If our goal is to follow the foolish few, then what becomes of our character? What do we add to ourselves by embracing the ignorance of others? Let the ignorant remain ignorant and keep company with the wise--color is not a condition of character...have a good one...

THIS is America...let freedom ring. Everyone is equal now... there shouldn't be any fighting...okay? I'm a white person and I have a lot of black friends and they are so wonderful to me. People who are idiots are the ones who do the name calling. That's kids stuff. I was always made fun of in elementary through junior high by my white piers. The only true friends I had that stuck up for me were my black friends and that was in the 50's. I loved those girls like sisters and I sure wish I knew where they were today.

Everyone has equal freedom and opportunities in this country now. There shouldn't be special interest for anyone or anything. It all just a big political 'game.' Something else to complain about and to get everyone's attention. All the people who started this mess by making slaves of people are DEAD and this is a different world. God heard the prayers of the slaves and He did right by giving leaders who cared.

So as I say...name calling is for kids, and in their minds they are all grown up...but in reality they are far from it. Pay no attention to anything but what YOU feel and know. God loves all of His children.

I agree. I am sick and tired of blacks thinking they are better than anyone. They can cry slavery as a reason but there isn't a single person alive that was a slave. Why do we owe you if you weren't a slave? I never really considered myself a racist until recently because of the "double standard". I am not saying all black people are like that but most are. I am not going to judge a single person by the color of their skin but I will say for the most part black people have brought hate on themselves. You can't demand respect. You have to earn it. And by going around b1tching about white devils you are showing you deserve no respect. I will not judge one person but I will judge a group. And that goes for the damn mexicans too.

I AGREE ! im not really racist, well maybe to a point but i am so sick of hearing everything about how the KKK did this the KKK did that .. but u don't hear a word about what the black panthers are doing . I don't like hearing or saying the " N " word but i will tell ya now.. Martin Lawernce is a straight up " N " him and Will Smith. Very racist. You hear about how bad black people were treated all those years ago.. yea im sorry it happen but wtf ? that was years and years ago.. give it a rest already. But any more its not the blacks or the white we need to be bitching about.. its the damn mexicans coming in and taking over. They take god and pray out of schools but are making spanish a class that has to be taken in school ? they come to our country i say make them learn english ! Why is it that a white man can't claim a racist suit ? Racist slurs go both ways.. Its not really all that funny but the part where u said about black people month.. If black people were so smart then why did they pick the shortest month of the year to be their month ? Thats being racist ? but a black man can wear a shirt saying .. the hardest job is being a black man. but the easiest is being a white man .... How so ? Can some one please answer that ?

I personally agree. I mean you have the black comedians and rappers imitating voices of white people. Also they use the word cracker and honky and whitey. We should be able to call them ------- well i would say it but I'd be racist. and they'd file a law suit.
