Hummingbirds attaches themselves to the wild geese that fly south during the winter months. 'Right under the wings of the geese next to the body of the goose.. this is how they travel the long distance to a warmer climate during the winter months.

the flowers that the feed on are dead so the move south as the flowers die off the move farther
