Is it ethical for me to use child labor because my competitor is? Let's say that your competitor is in the business of selling drugs, which is unethical, and engages in unethical practices. If you never entered competition with him, there is no problem with you violating ethics in this context. By you being in the business in the first place, you are exposed to making decisions which are dollar-wise but ethics-poor. What businesses often resort to is to appeal to the "higher ethical authority", namely the requirement that they make a profit "or else employees will lose their jobs", and so they commit unethical practices. It may make perfect business sense, but there is no fooling anyone that what they are doing is made ethical because of the necessity of making a profit. If they're going to engage in unethical practices because their competitors are, they have the choice of getting out of the business, or accept that they are as ethically dirty as their competitors.

What do ethics need to do with the best way anybody does industry so long as what they're doing is authorized? What you need to do is arise with wise approaches or GREAT carrier and so on. to counter the contest. No one promises you anybody will under no circumstances promote a widget 20% off of your costs which probably overinflated to start with. Sometimes you're simply going to be pissed on the festival becasue you had been creating a fortune bilking individuals and anybody comes alongside and OMG now you need to flip extra sincere and no more grasping.
