f4809a battery wiring connection diagram?

the ac addapter socket on my laptop is broken....
is it wise to use the laptop battery "externaly"????? i want to connect the ac addapter wires directly to the battery connectors / terminals(+-)...and then, use 2 new wires to connect the battery to the connectors inside the laptop battery compartment????

The laptop itself provides the correct charging voltage and current. Connecting the power as you stated may result in the battery blowing up.
